Great collection of James Last tracks, Paul - the Well Kept Secret album is just sublime, I never tire of listening to it and glad to see the inclusion of my all time favourite James Last track (alongside JL's funky ass cover of Hawkwind's Silver Machine) - I Can't Move No Mountain.
It's been a while since I've played his Voodoo Party album so can't remember if any of the tracks you've compiled come from it - but for those new to JL - the two albums I've mentioned and this compilation are an object lesson in not dismissing any artist simply because they are tagged with the "easy listening" label.
I spent years thinking he was from here in the UK - In addition to the very Anglo name, I think all those Readers Digest/K-Tel compilations advertised on TV in the 70s were responsible for that particular misconception!
Thanks for this upload it's never ceases to amaze me how a few years ago James Last was considered "Naff" and out of fashion surely good music is good music whatever the year :)
